Something for Everyone

The Canterbury Outboard Boating Club is a club that has an interest in all aspects of motor boating not just one particular area. We all share a common interest and that is we own an outboard/power boat or stern drive.  

Our objectives are to promote outboard and power boating as a safe and pleasurable family activity and to provide facilities and equipment for the enjoyment of all. You are welcome to take part in as many or few activities as you wish. The C.O.B.C offers to members the use of club resources free and the opportunity to get involved in a number of activities with people with common interest. 

These include –
• Water sports
• Boat cruising
• Fishing trips
• General boating events
• Off water social events
• Free use of water toys
• Poker Run
• Lyttelton to Akaroa run

Whether your interest are water sports, fishing,
general boating, socialising or all of the above mentioned, the COBC has something for everyone.
